These robust director chairs have a lifespan of at least thirty years and do not need a lot of maintenance. In folded position the chair takes up little space, which is ideal of course when used on board. ARC director chairs are made of high-grade teak and finished with stainless steel fittings. So they are weather-resistant and suitable for outdoor use.
Our wooden director chairs have fitted armrests and include comfortable cushions and covering. The armrests provide good support for your arms and ensure a pleasant sitting position at all times. The deluxe cushions give a relaxed seat, but they must be removed for the chair to fold compactly. This is not necessary in case of the variant with canvas covering. Cushions and canvas coverings are available in a wide variety of colours. You may also customise your chair by choosing your own individual fabric and colour for the covering. Although all our director chairs are suitable for outdoor use you are advised to remove the cushions in rainy conditions. Another option is to store the complete chair in a practical bag.
The teak director chair is available in an oiled and unoiled variant. Unoiled teak needs no maintenance. Oiled teak must be re-oiled at regular intervals because the oil coat becomes affected by (sea) water and sunlight and will gradually disappear. Director chair II is a stable and comfortable chair with an extra-wide seat. Director chair ‘Deluxe’ has thicker cushions.
